hi textkit, this is just an insight rather than a question. i came accross the website cactus 2000 a few months ago. it is geared towards learning latin (and some modern european languages) verb declensions.after struggling through latin grammar (esp verbs)for nearly 15 years i finally seem to be making progress. when i started learning grammer there was a popular website which claimed to be the best way to learn latin via orbergs lingua latina. it was called the dowling method and claimed that when you wrote out the verb conjugations a few hundred times you would remember them for good.
cactus has (i think) 4.5 thousand verbs on its verb list (enough at least for vol 1 of LL)the next step on my ladder of language acquisition is to interact with other latin learners on facebook .if there is anybody who could introduce me to the lingua latina forum (if it exists on facebook)i would much appreciate it.
