Biblical Hebrew Stative Verbs vs. Adjectives

Hello,

I have been studying BH(Biblical Hebrew) for some time, and have recently started to get into stative verbs. From what I know, I’ve been told stative verbs in Hebrew express a “state” rather than an “action”. For example, the stative verb “חָרָה” means “be angry” (Qal Active) and the BH verb יָבֵשׁ means “be dry” (Qal active). However, in BH you can also express a state using an adjective. For example, the phrase " טוֹב הַשֵּׁם" means(Hashem meaning lit. “the name” not “god”) “the name is good”, expressing the state of “being good”. What I was wondering is if there might be an adjective & stative verbs whose meaning might collide. So a stative verb that might express “be happy” would exist alongside an adjective that means “happy”, and if such a case existed, is there a difference in using the stative verb vs. the adjective?

Thanks - C.W

P.S Sorry if any BH might be wrong with translations. I’m still getting used to the language
