The reference grammars in both Athenaze and JACT have τειχῶν (or πληθῶν) for the genitive plural of εσ stem nouns. Is there a reason the uncontracted form is more correct here?
You’re most welcome. On τειχέων/τειχῶν, I have the impression that the uncontracted form is more usual, but I could be wrong. It’s supremely unimportant.
I’m always glad to learn these bits of real Greek that are evened out in the textbooks.
