It looks as if the Internet is teaming with folks trying to find a Latin equivalent for “as previously said”. I don’ t know what is causing this, but the pattern is clear. Any idea why? Must be some sort or radio show contest or something.
If any of those people end up here, I would suggest “ut prius dictum est”.
what about ut supra dixi? I seem to remember that showing up several times in Cicero’s de finibus III.

Sure. I just I wish knew where this whole thing is coming from. I will have close to a hundred hits from search engines by the end of the day, even though the info displayed for my site barely looks useful for this search. This means that there are hundreds of people searching for this phrase today. Is that odd or what?
looks like you’ve been botted by a search engine (I remember vaguely reading somwhere that’s how they work for some reason), else someone(s) is just very very very very very very very very obsessive! 
EDIT: I just realised that I don’t know what I’m talking about! Strike the above commentary our of yer head!
all very odd; however there search will arguably be fruitless if they follow the suggestion ‘ut prius dictum est’, for the parenthetical ‘as was said’ would be something expressed actively. the phrase suggested is however common in medieval Latin.
the active ‘ut (supra) dixi’, as D. suggests, is much better Latin.

I was indeed following medieval usage. “Ut supra dixi” did cross my mind, but it seems that what people are searching for is not supposed to be an example of classical Latin, but rather a verifiable calque. Alas, we may never find out what caused this strange behavious of so many humans. It was interesting, however, to observe the ways they formulated the search strings.
