Why is the article omitted here? Is it because of some emotion the phrase conveys or because a participle equivalent to a relative clause follows?
γυναͳκα is predicative: “I also give you this woman herself (αὐτὴν ταύτην) as wife” or “to be your wife.” Then the climactic participial phrase (“—my own daughter”) clarifies who is meant by αυτην ταυτην.
