I am very excited to see this episode come to fruition, which is the culmination of careful planning over many months. This lesson truly bridges the gap between the deliberately laid foundation of Lessons 1-5 where the three declensions and article in all genders and numbers were taught, and like Lesson 6 is another important milestone along the path of Ancient Greek in Action.

For we now introduce verbs! Many verbs of the third person plural are demonstrated, including the indicative versions of the command (imperative) verbs we saw in Lesson 7. This vocabulary allows us to enjoy our first story in Ancient Greek: an adaptation of the Story of Baby Moses from the Koine Greek Old Testament (the Septuagint, Exodus 2).
