Amazon A9 Search gives 1.57% discount

Do you know about Amazon’s A9 Search wrapper? (It’s sort of an Amazon search wrapper around Google)

If you use it enough, they’ll give you an additional 1.57% discount off your Amazon purchases. Not much effort is needed to get this. Just login to Amazon. Do a few A9 searches. Go to your Amazon Home Page and you should see a little link at the top left corner of the screen that shows you’ve qualified.

So now you can Support Textkit (http://www.textkit.com/support/) by seaching for items via the Amazon search on Textkit before adding items to your Amazon Shopping Cart. And then, when you checkout, you will automatically get a 1.57% discount.

Being poor and unemployed, I just found it neat that I could get a small discount from my Amazon purchases. I just ordered a $45 book from Amazon, and saved 71 cents. Ok, it’s not a whole lot, but every cent counts… that’s nearly 2 postage stamps, or 5 diapers!

Spam is self-serving (eg advertising your own site, trolling, etc).

Marie’s post was meant to be beneficial to a group of poor students, which many of us are, and was not meant to serve herself in any way. :slight_smile:

(unless of course she is getting a cut from amazon for advertising, which I highly doubt :wink:
