I’ve read that aliquid means something.
I also read the plural is aliqui.
However, I can’t make the connection to the plural of something.
How can something have a plural.
How would aliqui be translated?
Thanks,
David

Aliquid is neuter; its plural is aliquae. Aliqui can be both masculine singular or plural (it’s a long i in both).
However, I can’t make the connection to the plural of > something> .
How can > something > have a plural.
“Some things”.
How would > aliqui > be translated?
Either “some man” or “some men”.
Thanks for the reply.
Can you then use aliqui as an adjective, in the sense aliqui liberi, aliquae feminae (some children, some women) ?
