For reference: Meletemata Ex 1.1. (yeah the very beginning).
My answers to Question 9:
Ὁ αὐτουργὸς φιλεῖ τὸν καλὸν κλῆρον.
The unofficial Answer Key gives: αὐτουργός, καλόν
The English Athenaze grammar for the chapter says: “An acute accent on the final syllable of a word will be changed to a grave accent if it is followed immediately by another word with no punctuation (comma, semicolon, or period) in between”
Should it be a grave or an acute on the αὐτουργoς and καλoν? If an acute.. why does it not change following the rule taught above?
thanks
