Hello folks.
I’ve recently been forced to start translating some Greek again for my studies and I’m grappling with the following quote (allegedly from Ἀπολλόδωρος ~180 BC):
Now I got most of this (though I have no idea where Kynos is), but the last two words trip me up. Can anyone help me out?
Ps. I wish I could provide more context, but this is the full quote, found in Schol. Pind. Ol. IX, 64, see: Boeckhius, Augustus, Pindari Opera, Quae Supersunt.; Tomus Secundus, (Lipsiae: Weigel, 1819), p. 216.
