and when they search eagerly within themselves to find the nature of their god,
ἰχνεύοντες δὲ παρ᾽ ἑαυτῶν ἀνευρίσκειν τὴν τοῦ σφετέρου θεοῦ φύσιν
I do not understand how they can translate this as ‘within themselves’ (the Russian translation follows in unison) while it apparently means ‘by themselves’, (Bailly refers to it translating as ‘trouver qqch de soi-même’).
