I am just an enthusiast of classical authors and languages. My formal connection to Greek and Latin ended when I left university over a decade ago. Then I had good hopes of keeping up my language skills, but they have inevitably atrophied. The authors I go back to most are Virgil and Horace. I also read a good deal of Greek tragedy back when I was a student but honestly I now wonder how I ever managed to puzzle through them.
