Yippee!

Finally, I have finished the first half of LL. After eight months of reading, rereading, restarting, backing up, redoing pensa, etc., I have brought Familia Romana to a close. Now, I can put my terribly beat up and worn copy aside and now have in my hands my fresh and clean copy of Roma Aeterna.

Anyway, 1) I wanted to brag (only a little  ), and 2) thank those here who first recommended it to me last year and who answered my questions along the way.

Best,
Chris

Congratulations, keep up the good work,

Perge quo coepisti,

fortissimi sunt Belgae? Thnx for the compliment!

I am envious…I am only on chapter 5 of Familia Romana

Gratissimum nuntium!

Sigh A little sad to see the book that helped you so much be in that condition. Mine is all yellowish now. And I was thinking of buying a new copy, but now I think I’ll keep it to remember the good ol’ days.

Muchas felicitaciones, Chris!

Congratulations! Tell us how you like Roma Aeterna! I’m actually only a few chapters away from it, myself, but a little girl (I believe she’s 7 or so) has my copy. I gave it to her before I left for boot. but, hey, she reads it. i think she’s almost done. :open_mouth:

Plurimas congratulationes!

Thank you all!

To you and I both! I come from a long line of the Belgae from Ghent.

Congratulations!! Good for you, Chris!! That is quite an accomplishment!

Congratulations! I’m still working at it- hope to finish it soon (or at least eventually!) as well.
