Yia Sas

Hi-I have been visiting here for about a year, & decided I should introduce myself. So: I am mid-20’s, have a B.A. in Classics (emphasis in archaeology) & I am currently teaching part-time & completing teacher certification. Favorite authors/subjects: Greek-Homer, Herodotus-I’m very interested in Archaic Greece and the Greek Bronze Age. Latin-most of my reading has been in the historians, & I’ve lately started exploring Medieval Latin. But archaeology is still my first love-I’ve worked on two projects in Greece & will definitely do more (this summer if possible). I have some questions & ideas I want to discuss, so maybe you will be hearing from me. See you. Paige.

Hello Candian Girl,

Glad you made your presence known. Say, do you find it ironic that you now hail from Ontario, CA? That has to be one of the least Canadian-like places there is.

Well, I think it’s kind of cool that you introduce yourself after being here a while, but maybe that’s just me

Why is Ontario so un-Canadian?

Why is Ontario so un-Canadian?

Hmmm, let’s see. It could be the difference between Joan Didion and Alice Munro.

Even more interesting is that each locale is known as Ontario, CA.

?

Hi Paige, I’d love to hear about the projects you worked on in Greece. Best, N.
