use of dictionary

I had trouble earlier with an abbreviation used in the Oxford Latin Dictionary. On the definition of ūnā, it reads first “adv. [ūnus; term. as extra, etc.]” and then proceeds to the proper definition.

What does “term.” mean? Specifically, I was looking for the etymology of una as an adverb, with the assumption that the adverb would be a reduction of some composite expression, like “una voce”; and was wondering if that “term. as extra” had something to do with this.

Termination, I think.

If you’re using the 1968 edition, there’s a list of general abbreviations and their meanings starting on p. xxi. In the newer second edition, the list starts on p. xxxiv.
