So far I’m having no luck at all. I bought Book I off the shelf of a major bookstore a few years ago, but I didn’t start learning from it until a few months ago. Now I’m almost ready for Book II and I’m looking forward to the rest of the ongoing saga of Dicaeopolis and his family, but I can’t find Book II anywhere, and when I ask the store to order it for me, so far they can’t seem to get it in. I went to the publisher’s website and it appears it might be out of stock. I don’t shop online, since on my one occasion of doing so my credit card number was stolen, so I need to find it either in person or somewhere I can mail order for it.
I wondered if anyone here had an idea of a bookstore, new or used, that might happen to have it in the Los Angeles area?
I e-mailed the publisher and I’m hoping to hear some good news that it’s only temporarily out of stock, but just in case it’s not, I thought I’d try here.
I did a search on abebooks.com and it says a bookstore in Santa Monica has it.

If you do go there, please tell me if it is a good bookstore for classical languages, I only know of one in Pasadena that is kind of halfway decent… You’d think Southern Cali has everything…
I had no idea there was such a book-finding place! Thanks so much for the info. I will definitely give them a call and see if they’ve still got it. I hope it’s a good bookstore. I’ve been checking out so many lately and haven’t found anything good. Seems in our area so many focus on the film/entertainment field and not much on the type of books I’m looking for. Thanks so much!
