I found Elements of Greek by Francis Kingsley Ball at a garage sale for 50 cents.
I’ve never heard of it. But that’s a nifty thrifty deal if you collect grammars.
Its published by Macmillan. Anyone know of this one?

hehehe, i’ve not heard of it, but well done for finding it for just 50 cents!
is it any good?
Do you know when it was published Geoff? I just love finding old books like your grammar - I have an old “Cicero, The Life & Letters”, transl. Jeans, G.E. published in 1901 and several other Greek books, also an 1839 Valpy’s Homer (Iliad) and one of my favourites. Anthony Trollope’s, “The Commentaries of Caesar”, London 1877. The last is not a serious study book but totally delightful! There is something very evocative about owning these older books, a real link with the past. I think the most expensive book was the Homer, $AUS25 (about $US18), the rest were a few dollars each
