The inhabitants of the province did not warn the cat about the queen’s treachery.

Incolae provinciae de insidiis reginae felem non monuverunt.

  1. Is this correct?
  2. Is this good form, especially using the ‘about the treachery’ rather than ‘of the treachery’, the latter sounding better at least in English?

monuverunt doesnt mean anything!
