Translating the word "mint"

For clarification, I am referring to the place where coins are made, not μίνθα.

If I had to guess, I should render it as “ἐργαστήριον” (workshop), but is there a better word?

If I might enquire, where did you find it? I could not find much by way of νομισμα- in Liddell.

Then I made what I found “classical”. Finally, I searched for the term to make sure that it is Katharevousa.
It is at least medieval Greek.
