Hi, John!
A formidable man gave me a link at the “Outside links” topic to works of ancient Greek authors-. I have also talked to you about that, but I don´t know where is the work in English.

thank you very much my friend… the translation is good…

but grammatically ive already hit a problem :frowning: … what form is the word ελδείν?.. is it the infinitive of ‘eldomai’? …origionally i thought it was but would that be έλδειν… not ελδείν…

this is the word in context:

A?χόμενος π?ώτης σελίδος χο?oν εξ Ελικώνος
ελδείν εις εμόν ήτο? επε?χομαι είνεκ’ αοιδής,

any help again would be appreciated…
