ἀλλ᾽ ὡς διὰ ταύτην τὴν ἐγκράτειαν πολλαπλάσια εἰς τὸν ἔπειτα χρόνον εὐφρανούμενοι οὕτω παρασκευάζονται:
but because by this self-control they prepare themselves so as to οὕτω? to enjoy manifold [pleasure] in the future
There is something about this οὕτω after participles, the commentary does not say what exactly but makes a reference to another lexicon that is unavailable to me. So what might that be?

ὡς + fut ptcp (εὐφρανούμενοι) expresses purpose/intention: “but in order to/expecting to enjoy themselves…they prepare themselves in this way (οὕτω)”
