I don’t want to be inappropriate in asking for help.
I have tried for 2 days to figure out this word.
προὔδοσαι.
Translated as betrayed. I have explored inflections of προδίδωμι. Does not appear to be an infinitive. Aorist δοῦναι. Close, but not σαι.
Perhaps it is an error in the book. Key to Greek Prose Composition, 16/7. (unable to get rough breathing mark on υπο ) ἄγγελοι ὐπὸ τοῦ βασιλέως πεμφθέντες προὔδοσαι τήν πόλιν.
Sorry to have to ask simpleton questions, but this is where I am at. I am making gains and do understand from my work in this book more grammar, but not this particular exercise.
