I am not mexican, but once in school, when every one was going inside because of the rain, I stayed out alone in order to ponder some things. Large groups of children all yelled in the distance “LOSER!!!” Some people say in denial “ooh I didn’t really care to be honest”, despite their gut reaction being of a certain degree of offence, and of dignity being harmed. But I just laughed briefly and continued to think, in such a setting where children seem to need to be surrounded by a bunch of kids, whom they call ‘friends’, who is really the loser? The standard is set at the one alone being it, so that it will generally be acceptable to mock the person who stands by himself, and that the more ‘friends’ there are around you, the more 1/loser you are, when clearly it is the inverse.
Consider that 1 year ago, without any pectorals, I would never have dared to stand on my own in such a school. It all comes down to weakness.
I call benissimus a loser because he knows many more latin words than I do, and can read the Aeneid; this is clearly because of pure envy.
