i came up with

but then i used the oxford latin course book3 translation for maiestate which happens to be majesty… odd… doesnt sound right…
anyways there is another slight problem…
impera ei ut eos curet disciplinamque militarem doceat
i got something along the lines of
Order him to care for them in order to teach them military discipline

Your translation is good. You should, however, just be aware that ut … curet is a clause with a finite verb and not an infinitive (the infinitive is of course the nicer of the two in an English translation).
Also, look at disciplinamque. The -que means “and” in Latin, not “in order to” and connects two words in the sentence. See?
