I am looking for a translation of Elegia (29.Diehl) by Simonides. Also looking for the text of his poem about the battle of Plataea. Any information would be appreciated.

I don’t have translations for you, I’m afraid.
I’ve never looked at 29 (Diehl; 8 West) before. I’ll try to have an Aoidoi commentary ready for it over the weekend, though I don’t know if this is quite what you’re looking for. But my thanks for giving me a reason to look this poem up.
