Searching for original quote

Hi all,

I’m sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong forum, but I thought this was the most apprporiate one. I have heard the following quote attributed to Socrates, but a few preliminary attempts to find it’s original source failed to yield any success.

By all means marry. If you get a good wife, you’ll be happy. If you get a bad one, you’ll become a philosopher.

Can anyone here confirm if this is actually a quote by Socrates, and what it was in Greek?

I just put the whole quote between quotation marks and googled it. All kinds of sites were willing to tell me that it is indeed by Socrates but I couldn’t find the Greek. Maybe try Perseus.
