Hello,
I just found your site here and I love it … I downloaded Mr D 'Oog’s lessons and have begun my studies.
I want to learn Latin so that I can read some texts in their native languages , as well as it’s just fun LOL

Welcome! (I’m moving this to the Open Board so everyone, e.g. the Greek barbarians, will be able to say hello)
Well alright then. Hello and welcome.
And Benissimus, who exactly are you calling barbarians, you barbarian you!
Hello, and thank you for the warm welcome, you horde of barbarians you !!
A question if I may…Do any of you know of a link to the vocalizations of the latin vowels? I think I have a pretty good understanding of their pronunciations, but would like to hear them to make sure.
thanks
Chris
e.g. the Greek barbarians
Shame upon thee, mi Benissime superbe, thrice shame!!!
The Greeks invented the word ‘barbaroi’ long before the Romans first wrote it, and caused all that misleading stuff about beards! Eheu kai pheu!
Please may I add my welcome, CClements!
Phylax
Salve Phylax!
thank you for the welcome!
Chris
