For years I’ve been trying to find a forum where I can learn/practise my Latin.

Ok then… you asked for it.
I just hit 30, live in nowhere PA, I’m an amateur linguist, half-baked classicist, Roman reconstructionist, Italian-American, out-of-work Database Programmer, blah blah blah.
Anyway, the nearest university that holds a Latin class is half an hour away and they want over $800… yeah right.
So I’m basically teaching myself.

Indeed, this is the place for free tools and advice… check out the ‘Learn Latin’ and ‘Tutorial’ links above for materials, the Latin forums to ask (and answer) questions, and The Agora to try your hand at posting in Latin.
I take it you don’t do Greek at all? (I ask purely out of curiosity; I only study Greek myself.)
Other than that, feel free to contact me (or any of the moderators) should you need help with the forums.
