…and might as well kick in bonjour, an buongiorno while I’m at it.
I have absolutely no reason to be Learn latin or Greek but for pure pleasure and curiosity. I am a software engineer by weekday, - you see the trend here - cracking code… My life long dream is to write a fantasy novel - working on it but seem to be spending all my novel writing time learning ancient languages…
French was my first language (Merci papa a maman!) and I took two years of Italian in college so with latin - my original endeavor - words seem to be just waiting for me to be reminded of them before they jump out and adhere themselves to the insides of my brain.
But as I became drawn into this really magical online web of ancient language enthusiasts I could not resist taking little forays into Ελλενικα. Well there are no words waiting to spring fully formed out of Αθηναζε into my head but I’m good and hooked now anyway.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this forum - I’ve already benefited immensely - which is why Im making it official so to speak.
