Yep, Civilization was a huge time theif for me, too. For some reason I always liked the original more than Civ II (never played III). As for the site, it looks like an (impressive) add for Civ IV.

I also liked a lot more Civ I than Civ II. I remember starting to play at 22h just for few turns, so I would say, and only realizing how late it was (or how soon it was) when I saw the sun raising. Of course I was student at that time and had more time that could be stolen.
The Civ III is at the level of Civ I in keeping you playing so be aware of it. But by your avatar I would say you haven’t much free time to be stolen, I know I haven’t and only have one daughter.
