Hi, please comment on my recitation of the beginning of the Aeneid.
It is quite good, better than anything I could do. I would say that at times it is a bit too fast, and at times the distinction of long and short syllables is a tiny bit muddled.
I especially appreciate that you are generally able to maintain the distinction between the natural accent of the word and the “ictus” of the metrical foot.
The consonants are well pronounced, vowel sounds are clear and distinct. Altogether a good job. You’ll only get better with practice.
