τί δέ; οὐκ ἂν οἴει με κατὰ Πίνδαρον “καὶ ἀσχολίας ὑπέρτερον πρᾶγμα” ποιήσασθαι τὸ τεήν τε καὶ Λυσίου διατριβὴν ἀκοῦσαι;
This is from Perseus and another old edition. How can ποιήσασθαι be explained? Since this is oration obliqua, it should indicate a previous action which is not the case here. In the recent edition, the verb is ποιήσεσθαι, which causes no difficulty.
ok, I got it, here ποιήσασθαι with ἂν stands for opt potentialis in oration obliqua, which is very clear, now the problem is with the modern edition and its ποιήσεσθαι. It does not fit ἂν , therefore, it is probably an anacoluthon.
