One sentence from a translation exercise (Zuntz: Lesson 18)

Χαίρετε,

I’d be grateful for your thoughts on my translation of this sentence taken from the exercises from Zuntz, lesson 18:

We offer these gifts to the gods, but other (gifts) to other (gods).
Τὰ μὲν δῶρα ταῦτα παρέχομεν τούτοις τοῖς θεοῖς, ἄλλοις δ‘ ἄλλα.

Does this work?

I’d think that would be for: Τὰ μὲν δῶρα ταῦτα παρέχομεν τοῖς θεοῖς, ἄλλοις δ‘ ἄλλα.

Also, despite the δῶρα being fronted in the first branch, that ἄλλοις δέ reads to me as if the significant distinction in the second branch is the ἄλλοις, more than the ἄλλα. “…but for other gods, other gifts.”

The original German practice sentence was actually “Wir bringen diese Gaben diesen Göttern dar, aber andere anderen.” Seems like they lost one demonstrative pronoun in the English translation, and I didn’t notice.
