I’ve got a copy of the old Kinchin Smith “Teach Yourself Latin.”
It looks like a much better book than the “Teach Yourself Greek” by the same authot.
If anyone familiar with this Latin book? Opinions?

I have the same book. It’s alright - reasonably fast paced and assumes a lot of revision. So if you take your time for it and revise a lot it will certainly set you up to really start learning the language.
I think it could have done with more example sentences when it gets to more complicated concepts.
I can’t compare it with other grammars though, because it’s the only one I’ve ever used.
