I am looking for a good commentary (in English) on Apuleius’s Golden Ass. My school library has been grossly unhelpful so far, but maybe if I had a specific author or title to look for, my search would be easier. I need to analyze the purpose of Apuleius including the myth of Cupid and Psyche in his tale, so a commentary which touches on this is a must. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
