I have been looking forward to a newsletter but have not received one yet. How often can one be expected? (Or is something wrong with my subscription)?
I haven’t recieved one yet, either. Of course, I haven’t been a member very long-only since the beginning of August/end of July, I think.
Keesa
I only received one, and that was back in May. I suspect that it’s a matter of finding content, or, more specifically, people to create content!
Kilmeny
That would make sense.
By the way, Jeff, I’m keeping track of what works for me, in learning Latin, as you suggested. When I finally learn enough to write a tutorial, I’ll be ready! ;D
Keesa
yes, we are over due for a newsletter. We’ll be having a Greek and Latin edition rolling out around Aug. 22 (big posting that week). after that - i’m going to try to get better at mailing them out on a more regular basis.
thanks,
jeff
August 22? How odd! That’s my birthday! What a nice birthday present!
Keesa
Don’t misunderstand me, I was not being impatient or pushy but since I have not had one yet, I did not know if something was amiss with my subscription status. It was promised that the next newsletter had a good New Testament Greek content, I didn’t want to miss it.
Thanks
What Bert was really trying to say was… “Take your time, but hurry up!” ![]()
Festina lente sed festina ![]()
Ingrid
(didn’t Augustus say that?)

Hurry slowly, but hurry! … ?
I like that! ![]()
I like it, too! I’ve got a feeling that little phrase will come in handy sometimes… ;D
Keesa
Yep “Festina lente” was a favorite saying of Augustus. ![]()
cool, benissimus, who said that about augustus? cassius dio or someone? thanks, chad. ![]()
Augustus said it himself ;o
