Hi all!

My name is Harrison, and I’ve been studying Latin since middle school and Ancient Greek since my senior year of high school. I got my bachelor’s last year with a secondary major in classics, and I hope to keep my language skills sharp throughout my life, though my career aspirations lie elsewhere (neuroscience/biotech).

I recently started going through LLPSI to refresh my Latin, as I have barely touched it since my sophomore year of college (mostly did Greek in college). I have also been teaching myself Sanskrit, and took a semester of Hittite in college.

My long-term goals are to be able to communicate in Latin and Greek fluently and to write my own compositions. I have dabbled with short poems in the language, and my life-long goal is to write a long-form work like the Astronautilia.

Hi all,

I think I used to have an account here, but lost in the mist of times. Anyway, I have returned to this space after some time and it seems like a good idea to re-introduce myself. I’m Seumas Macdonald, teacher of ancient Greek and Latin via communicative methods, and sometime producer of Greek and Latin materials. Glad to be here (again)
