Hello. My name is John. I had a career as a computer programmer, then as a manager of teams developing software. Several years ago I decided I would like to read the Odyssey in its native language, a vey ambitiious challenge for me. I found an online course for ancient greek developed by Professor Jeff Rydberg-Cox at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. It is perfect for me because it is self-paced. However, there is no way (that I have found) to get questions about the course material answered. So I was looking around the internet and found the textkit forums. I have joined the forum with the hope that I might ask pretty specific questions about how the ancient greek language works.
