The sentence in particular is “Aquam pulsat et te vocat.” Now I know what the other half of the sentence means, “And he/she/it calls you.” But I can’t for the life of me figure out what the first part is saying. My guess is “he/she/it pushes the water,” but by looking at the picture, that’s definitely not correct. Can someone help me understand this sentence?
pulso means “strike” or “beat.” I think it’s the picture of someone slapping their hands against the water.
