Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 11:
Hi, Isaac,
Over on the Dickey group, we are working with this sentence
τὰ θηρία πολλάκις κακὰ πάσχει ὑπ’ ἀνθρώπων
and we want to listen to it with several different pronunciations. Any chance you could record it on archive.org and post the link here?
χάριν δῶσομέν σοι.
Hi Marcos,
Good to hear from you.. Here’s my attempt :
Wow, Isaac, that sounds really cool! thanks for doing that. It seems to me that you sound very close to how a First Century Greek would read/speak the sentence. If it’s okay, we might ask you to record some more sentences once we work them out. Hearing Greek sentences spoken out loud by someone other than oneself seems to me to be a great way to internalize Greek. χάριν οὖν οἶδα σε/ εὐχαριστῶ δὲ σοι ἐν Χριστῷ.

Anytime Marcos. … May God bless you in Jesus Christ.
