ἀπηλλάγημεν τοῦ πολέμου οὕτως, ὥστ᾽ ἀγαπητῶς ἀπηλλάττοντο καὶ οἱ πολέμιοι
we got rid of the war as gladly as our enemies. is thισ a correlative pair: οὕτως- ὥστε? and also τε -και?
The comments, however, say that it is ‘as our enemies used to do’, which gives a different sense.
