Mathew 6:13 accent

In the alternate ending of Mathew 6:13 contained in the byzantine/majority text:

Ὅτι σοῦ ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία καὶ ἡ δύναμις καὶ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας.

The τους sometimes has a grave accent in some of the editions and other times has a circumflex accent.

This is also true across other printed received manuscripts. The textus receptus on blue letter Bible has a circumflex.

Is there an accent rule I’m missing that turns a grave accent on this definite article to a circumflex when it normally has a grave? Is the εἰς doing something.

For what it is worth, my Orthodox Liturgy book has a grave accent.

τοῦς occurs 342 times in the TLG, always in later Greek. It’s possible that it comes from the pronunciation confusion between final circumflex and final grave in stress-based Greek. But unless we can find some manuscripts that support that, it’s as likely to come from bad digitization.
