Latin Translation

I am looking for a gramatically correct translation of:

‘May the wind always be at your back, and the sun upon your face’.

I would really apprciate any help that anyone could offer me.

Many thanks

There will be many ways of translating this. Here’s just one.

semper ventus secundus tibi sit/atque sol os tuum calefaciat.

May there always be a favourable wind for you and may the sun warm your face.

Many thanks for your reponse, i really appreciate your help. Is there a literal translation for it?

Many Thanks

CFstar, I have to ask… is this for a tattoo? Because I really wouldn’t recommend translating for tattoos this way.

Its for a piece of art work that i am planning to create for my wife, the saying means alot to her, hense the neccesisty for the literal translation.
