Has anyone read the book called ‘Latin for Dummies’. If so please let me know what you thought of it.

I don’t have an answer to your question.
I did see the Dummies book, and also the Idiots book, at the bookstore. They look very approachable, but part of me is very skeptical about using these for learning Latin … because I have been learning French and have looked at the Dummies/Idiots books for French and can’t imagine anyone really learning French using those books … so I think the same applies to the Dummies/Idiots books for Latin.
I’m currently in search of a beginners book for Latin. Have you found one that you like ?
