The Google Books novelty is probably wearing off, but here are some fun old books with greek and latin quotations, and their translations:

Only on the third link can I get a book to come up.

I clicked on a random page and found a Latin quote that is very similar to a Dutch one.
The translation of the Latin one is; Hunger sweetens beans.
The translation of the Dutch one; Hunger makes raw beans sweet.

Hmmm. There must be a better way to link to these Google books. The urls are ugly, but they still work for me. Here’s a worse way to link to them, but these may work:
