[14] Τοῦτο ἤδη τρίτον ἐφανερώθη Ἰησοῦς τοῖς μαθηταῖς ἐγερθεὶς ἐκ νεκρῶν.
ἐκ νεκρῶν: May νεκρῶν be considered a genitive plural adjective, used substantively?
It’s usually Englished as “from the dead”. Unreflectively, I had always thought of this as meaning “from the condition of being dead.” But now, I want to see it as meaning “from among the dead ones.”
