Hi everyone.
The last time I spent a lot of time with Greek and Latin texts was at St. John’s College my Freshman and Sophomore years, where we learned Attic Greek, and worked more or less chronologically in the great primary texts in philosophy, mathematics, science, and literature, including the Bible.
I struggled with the Greek, but still took the project with a lot of passion. It was a paradise of inquiry without any textbooks, tests, or lectures, and it was wide open.
Lately I’ve been studying Hebrew, the Bible, and Roman and Jewish history. I have resources for Hebrew, but am short on Greek and Latin language resources, and may ask historical questions here also.
