My name is Evelyn, I’m interested in learning Greek, I have a year of Latin under my belt, Just graduating high school. I’ve always been a big fan of poetry, both as a writer, and a reader. Being a lesbian, I am a fan of Sappho’s works, and I want to be able to read them in their original Greek. While I am interested in Greek literature from a general standpoint as well (I rather enjoy philosophy), my primary goal is to learn Aeolic Greek.
I don’t really know which dialect I should start with, but I know for sure that I want to learn Aeolic.
