Many, many thanks !
(Moreover, I didn’t know DjVu yet
)
One of my favorite subject.
Trying to decipher some of the printed shorthands in a work of Archimedes.
Thank the lord that it is also available in PDF! ![]()
Awesome find, annis. I’ve the book on a wishlist of mine, so glad I can save myself the dollar (for the time being). Thank you.
hi, if you want to study any of the images of papyri in thompson’s book (which is one of the best features of his book), this online version isn’t good enough (both the .pdf and the djvu versions), all the fine detail of the letters and the papyrus itself from the photos in the hardcopy book is lost.
if you just want to read the text though, it’s fine.
Now, THIS is the site I’d been looking for! You can find in it grammars of esperanto, old english, gothic, middle english, arabic, sanskrit, old irish, prakrit…wooow nice find. After months of searching the penilless pilgrim in the land of ebooks is finally rewarded… ![]()
