Does anybody know of a good interlinear LXX, preferably available online and free? I have found this free edition on archive.org, which is pretty much what I’m looking for, except that the Greek here is monotonic for some strange reason (of course, the original included no tones at all, but I’m used, as are many, to the polytonic orthography).
I am only looking for Greek+English, though Hebrew would be nice as well (though difficult due to the discrepancies between the MT and the LXX). I’m not really interested in an interlinear NT edition — and those are much easier to find than an Interlinear LXX, anyway.
Thanks, that’s pretty much what I was looking for. This isn’t my introduction to the language (in re what Barry said), but it’s a bit different from more classical sources and I was just looking for a quick way to check a word from Greek in English and/or look up its morphology if it is unfamiliar. The source you linked is actually better for my purposes than a simple interlinear, actually, thanks.
Also, it would appear to me that this is a bible with English and the original language (Hebrew or Greek depending on part — as well as the bits in Aramaic!). This wouldn’t include the Septuagint; I’m not interested in NT Greek.
My apologies, I mistook this for another text that I had years ago, a parallel columns OT that had Greek, Hebrew and English. I remember it being published by Zondervan, and the English text was the new at that time NIV, but I can’t seem to track it down anywhere using those search terms.
